Marimba solo, duo, Chamber music  (from duo till octet)

Age limit & application 
The Competition is open for all nationalities. There is no age limit. 

When should you apply?
Application & registration deadline for Marimba Solo April 1st, 2020. 
Only a limited number of applicants is allowed. It is therefore strongly recommended to apply as soon as possible. Applications are admitted on a ‘first come-first served’ basis. During the editions before all places were taken.
All applicants mail before the deadline of April 1st, 2020, the application form and needed documents and transfer the registration fee. Notice that applications will be cancelled in case the transfer is not done before this deadline. All applicants have time until June 1st, 2020 to decide their repertory.

Audition & application deadline for Marimba Duo and Chamber music: December 1st, 2019.
Registration deadline for Marimba Duo and Chamber music: April1st, 2020. 

All applicants mail before the deadline of December 1st, 2019, the  application form and needed documents together with a none edited live recording or you tube links of 15' music. These recordings will be handled as audition tape for further acceptance as a candidate 2020. It is allowed in further competition rounds to perform the same worksThe audition results will be announced against December 10th, 2019. After approval, the registration need to be completed by transferring the registration fee before April 1st, 2020. Notice that applications will be cancelled in case the transfer is not done before this deadline. All applicants have time until June 1st, 2020 to decide their repertory.
A minimum of 10 candidates for each discipline (duo and Chamber music) is required to run each discipline seperated. If the minimum of required applications doesn’t appear against December 1st, 2019, the duo and Chamber music session may be hold together in one category (specific marimba Chamber music ) from duo till ensemble (max. 8 members) or may be postponed to edition 2022. The final descision will be informed on 10th December after the audition results and presented total of applying candidates.  

Application materials
The competitor(s) send in all materials by mail against December 1st 2019 ( marimba duo and Chamber music ) and against April 1st, 2020 (marimba solo);
1. The signed application form.
    (Quintet to octet formation need to add with the applicationform a full list of all members) 
2. A copy of current passport or identity card. 
3. One high quality head shot photo.
4. A short curriculum vitae in English.
5. A copy of the bank receipt documenting the application fee. 

Registration fee 
Marimba Solo: 250 Euro
Marimba Duo: 400 Euro 

Marimba Chamber music:
(duo 400 euro, trio 570 Euro, quartet 720 Euro, quintet 850 Euro, sextet, septet, octet = 960 Euro)
All instrument combinations are welcome. This edition focus and welcomes all musical combinations with marimba (vibraphone, voice, strings, guitar, accordion, wind instruments etc...). Except percussion ensemble formation is not allowed. Each ensemble from duo till quintet need to include minimum one leading marimba member or part.  

Registration fee for all disciplines has to be paid in Euro at last at April 1st, 2020 by bank transfer.
Bank check will not be allowed.
The fee is not refundable regardless the outcome of the Competition and should be transferred net (excluding transfer costs) to the bank account below, indicated by your name, Competition 2020 and your competition registration number:
